AN CARRANNACH | photo competition 📸
Our local magazine is looking for entries to a new ‘front cover’ photo competition! Open to those under the age of 21, it is an opportunity for any young photographers to get their photo printed on the front of An Carrannach. Entries will also be entered into a prize draw for the December issue and the best image of the year wins £100!
The photo subject must be landscape or wildlife. One entry per person per month.

The Highland Council have confirmed that they will spend £2.7 million on stabilising the four rockface slopes identified as ‘Very High Risk’ on the A890 Stromeferry Bypass.
Two slopes will under go work in the Autumn with the following slopes receiving attention in Spring 2020.
A road on rail Bypass will be installed for some of the work in the Autumn, but there will also be three full weekend closures in order to to undertake work on a slope that cannot be bypassed on the railway.
