The world’s largest semi submersible drilling rig is preparing to leave Kishorn, after being moored in the loch since January.
The ‘Ocean Greatwhite’ has been undergoing work at the Kishorn Port to prepare it for a new life in the North Sea.
Today the ship ‘FS Balmoral’ arrived in the loch to assist with the lifting of the anchors currently holding the drilling rig in position. This evening, the large X-Bow offshore vessel ‘Normand Service’ also arrived to take up position next to the rig.
The ‘Ocean Greatwhite’ is expected to depart imminently.
